Traditionally has been used to strengthen the immune and nervous system, to bring relief to oral problems (toothaches, gum diseases, bad breath), to stimulate blood circulation and purify the blood. Also used in treating wounds and to bring relief for cold symptoms. Believed to be an aphrodisiac. In skincare helps to prevent and alleviate symptoms of ageing. Used as a bug repellent.
