Aroma: sweet, rosy, slightly lemony, floral, fresh. Uses: for inhalation, in aroma lamps. Helps to relieve anxiety, calms the senses, lifts the spirits. It helps to stimulate cellular regeneration thus rejuvenating and revitalizing the skin. Diluted in carrier oil is used for massage due to its warming and calming properties. Traditionally has been used to bring relief from inflammations and muscle tensions, to strengthen the nervous system. Very popular in perfumery (often used as a substitute for rose essential oil). Used in skincare – it balances sebum production making it perfect for oily skin, but also effectively hydrates dry and mature skin. Also used as a room freshener. Blends well with: ylang-ylang, lime, basil, lavender, lemongrass, bergamot, orange.
